Active in her community and profession, Judge Jessie Walsh is a colleague of the Nevada Law Foundation, which provides legal services to the poor and disadvantaged. She is a member of the Clark County Bar Association and the Nevada Bar Association. She is also the Community Service Chairperson for the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Judge Walsh has participated in numerous continuing legal educational programs as a panelist for the Nevada Business Institute, the Nevada Justice Association, and the State Bar of Nevada.
Jessie Walsh is a former member of the Judicial Council of the State of Nevada, a former co-chair of the “Trial by Peers” program, and a member and former director of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.
Judge Walsh enjoys mentoring students of all ages. She has worked with elementary students, middle school students, junior high and high school students, college students and law students. Judge Walsh has served as a volunteer judge in the UNLV Law School Client Counseling Competition, the “We the People..the Citizens & the Constitution” high school competition, the Annual Moot Court Competition for UNLV Boyd School of Law, and the Trial Advocacy Competition sponsored by the Nevada Justice Association.
